Our Commitment

Squirrels Nursery Ltd is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care. All staff receive regular safeguarding training and are required to follow our child protection policy at all times.

Every setting has a named Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) who is responsible for managing and escalating any concerns. We follow the guidance set out in Working Together to Safeguard Children and the EYFS statutory framework.

If you have a concern about a child's welfare - whether in our care or elsewhere - please speak to the DSL at your setting or contact the local authority directly.

How to Report a Concern

• Speak to the DSL at your child's setting in person or by phone.
• If you cannot reach the setting, contact Hampshire Children's Services on 0300 555 1384.
• In an emergency, always call 999.
• You can report concerns anonymously to the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.
