About Squirrels Nursery
Over 20 years of caring for children across Hampshire and Gosport.
Who We Are
Squirrels Nursery Ltd is a private childcare company with four settings across Waterlooville and Gosport. We were founded by Sue and are now run by Daisy (Owner & Operational Director) and Wesley (Owner & Financial Director).
We have been looking after children for over 20 years. All of our settings are registered with Ofsted and are staffed by qualified Early Years Professionals (EYPs). Every setting has a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and a SENCO on site.
Our four settings are:
- Waterlooville Nursery - babies and toddlers, 3 months to 3 years
- Waterlooville Pre-School - children aged 3 to 5, in the same building
- Haselworth, Gosport - nursery (1-4 years) and after-school club (up to 11 years)
- St Mary's, Gosport - nursery, 3 months to 4 years, term-time

How We Work
Children have free access to all areas. We encourage them to choose what they want to do and explore at their own pace.
We support physical, emotional, social and thinking skills - not just learning to read and write.
Fresh air and outdoor play are part of every session, whatever the weather.
Children brush their teeth after lunch, wash their hands regularly, and eat nutritious meals.
Our pre-school routines help children build independence and confidence before they start school.
We get to know each child and support them as an individual - at their own pace and in their own way.
